I agree with th previous reviewer. This CD has very interesting and colorful program choices, and looking at the photos and listening to the playing, it's evident that these twin sisters from Switzerland offer a blend of beauty, passion and musicianship that is dazzling. I don't think I've heard the Poulenc Sonata better played, and the lively Sonata by Turina is a real discovery. Much of the music, particularly in the Spanish pieces, is based on dance forms like the famous Albeniz Tango, and the Albeks demonstate a real affinity for these beguilling rhythms. Highly recommended.
