Duo from Switzerland

It is always exciting to discover artists previously unknown. These are twin sisters from Switzerland who play like angels. Their program on this CD combines some familiar works by deFalla and Albeniz with a colorful Sonata by Turina I had never heard and a dramatic fantasy based on themes from "Tosca" by a contemporary Italian composer named Lucchetti. The Albeks exhibit a high level of musicianship and an obvious love for the music they perform. Definitely recommended.
